The National Weather Service issued a flood warning that is in effect until 5:30 p.m.
They project that up to three inches of rain is possible.

The National Weather Service in Boston/Norton has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southeastern Worcester County in central Massachusetts...
* Until 530 PM EDT.
* At 325 PM EDT Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have
already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
Additional rainfall amounts of one inch are possible in the warned
area.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding will occur quickly, and
could be life threatening for those who try to drive through flooded
roads or underpasses. Find alternate routes. Those near small streams
need to get to higher ground immediately.
