WCAC Reminds Community It is Not Too Late to Apply for Fuel Assistance

The deadline to apply for the Worcester Community Action Council's (WCAC) fuel assistance program is May 13. The program is designed to provide relief to those households that are most vulnerable to high home heating costs. 

The low income home energy assistance program targets assistance to is intended to help defray the cost of heat during the winter months, November 1- April 30 of each year. 

To ease the application process for first time applicants, WCAC is offering special walk-in , no appointment necessary community outreach opportunities.

Tuesday, April 19th  9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

 

Warren Senior Center, 2252 Main Street, West Warren

Wednesday, April 20th  9:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.

 

Southbridge, Jacob Edwards Library (Lower Level)

Thursday, April 28th  9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Friday, April 29th  11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

 

Spencer Senior Center
