Weather Service Says 32% Chance Worcester Gets 12-18” of Snow Sunday Into Monday

There is a 90 percent chance of snow starting on Sunday night and going into Monday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

Starting after 5 p.m. on Sunday and ending before 10 a.m. on Monday, the Weather Service reports that there is a 43% chance of Worcester getting 8-12" of snow and a 32% chance of Worcester getting 12-18" of snow.

The National Weather Service says the following:

A SIGNIFICANT WINTER STORM REMAINS LIKELY FOR A PORTION OF
SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND SUNDAY AFTERNOON INTO MONDAY MORNING.
HOWEVER...IT REMAINS UNCERTAIN IF THE BETTER POTENTIAL FOR A
SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL WILL SETUP ACROSS INTERIOR SOUTHERN NEW
ENGLAND OR ACROSS EASTERN MASSACHUSETTS AND RHODE ISLAND.

THERE ALSO IS A LOW TO MODERATE RISK THAT A WIND ADVISORY WILL BE
NEEDED ALONG PORTIONS OF THE COAST SUNDAY NIGHT.
