Whether for transportation or for sheer joy, automobiles and car culture have become pervasive in our culture to the point that most can’t live without one.

While most citizens throughout the world own a car – 253.6 million vehicles were registered in the United States in 2012 alone, according to the Federal Highway Administration – people select their cars for a wide variety of reasons including, fuel economy, comfort, speed, or style.

What kind of car do you drive?

“I drive a 2014 Chevy Impala which I have had for about a year now.”

What do you like or not like about your car?

“I like my car because it is both efficient and comfortable. It is comparable to my previous car, a Ford Taurus.”

Where are some of your favorite places to drive?

“I have always enjoyed driving around Worcester and Central Massachusetts just to see what is happening. I also like bringing my girls to get some Coney Island hotdogs for lunch on Saturdays.”

What do you like to listen to when you drive?

“I have recently become a fan of country music but I also enjoy listening to local talk radio.”

What is your first or favorite car memory?

“I remember my grandfather’s Mercury Montego, which was an eight cylinder tank. We always had station wagons growing up. I remember our parents driving us over to the airport to watch the planes land.”
