Winter Storm Watch Issued for Worcester, Up to 4 Inches of Snow Possible

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Worcester starting on Thursday, November 15 at 7 p.m. and extending into 7 a.m. Friday morning.
“A Winter Storm Watch means there is potential for significant snow, sleet or ice accumulations that may impact travel. Continue to monitor the latest forecasts,” said the National Weather Service
According to the service, Rhode Islanders can expect up to four inches of snow.

THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING...
* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation possible. Total snow
accumulations of 2 to 4 inches and ice accumulations of around
two tenths of an inch possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central, eastern, northeastern and western
Massachusetts.
* WHEN...From Thursday evening through Friday morning.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The
hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening
commute.
