Worcester Boy in Stable Condition After Getting Hit by a Car

A 17-year-old Worcester boy is in stable condition after he was struck by a car in the area of 299 Lincoln Street. 

He suffered serious injuries to his head and lower body. 

The investigation is ongoing. 

The Incident 

Worcester police received a report of a pedestrian accident in the area of 299 Lincoln Street. Upon arrival, officers located a 17-year-old boy from Worcester who was suffering from serious injuries to his head and lower body. He was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries. He is currently listed in stable condition.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2010 BMW was traveling North on Lincoln Street and the driver was identified as a 23-year-old Worcester man. As the driver was approaching Burncoat Street, the boy attempted to run across the road when he was struck by the car on his right side.

Officers are in the process of conducting interviews. The car was towed from the scene to be inspected.
