Worcester Cab Driver Robbed at Gunpoint

A 39-year-old male Worcester cab driver was robbed at gunpoint at approximately 1:49 a.m. on Monday, June 20 on Elliot Street. 

The suspects were described as black males in their late teens or early 20s. All four suspects were wearing dark colored clotting and all had short hair. 

Suspects ranged in height from approximately 5'10" to 6'0" tall. 

The victim was not injured. 

The Incident 

According to the victim, he was sent to an Elliot Street address to pick up a cabe fare. When the victim pulled up to the address he was approached by four male suspects. One male went to the driver's door while the other three went to the passenger side. The male suspect at the driver's door showed a gun and placed it to the victim's neck and demanded that he shut off the vehicle and hand him the keys. 

The victim complied. 

The suspects entered the cab and took two cellphones, a GPS, and cash. After taking items and cash the four males ran off toward Merrifield Street. 

The keys to the vehicle were located within a close proximity to the vehicle. 

Police Asking for Help 

Worcester Police are investigating the incident.
