Worcester County Sheriff Evangelidis to Hold Annual Winter Coat Drive on Friday

Thursday, October 13, 2016

 

Worcester County Sheriff Lew Evangelidis is in search of gently used hats, scarfs and mitten donations for will hold his annual winter coat drive.

The event will be held in front of  the Wachusett Mountain Ski Area on Friday, October 14 starting at 10:30 a.m. 

Last year's coat drive provided more than 3,000 new and lightly used winter jackets for those in need throughout the area. 

This year, over 1,500 winter coats have been donated from The Crowley Family and Wachusett Mountain Ski Area. 

Wachusett Mountain is located on 499 Mountain Road in Princeton, MA. 

The event is open to anyone.
