Worcester Female & Juvenile Male Charged with Armed Robbery of Individual

Natasha Reyes, 19, of Worcester as well as a 14-year-old juvenile male have each been charged with armed robbery. 

Reyes will be arraigned today at the Worcester County District Court while the juvenile will be arranged on a date yet to be determined. 

The Incident 

At approximately 1:04 a.m., Worcester Police responded to 1 May Street for a report of an armed robbery of an individual. Upon arrival, police located a 24-year-old male victim. 

According to the victim, he was walking on Main Street when he was approached by a group consisting of three males and one female. The group approached the victim and attacked him without provocation.

One male in the group produced a hammer while the female produced a knife. The group robbed the victim of his cell phone and fled south on Maine Street. 

Officers were provided a description of the suspects and began searching the area for the group. 

The Search

After a short time, one officer came upon four individuals matching the description that was given. Two of the four individuals fled the area on foot upon seeing the police cruiser. 

The two remaining individuals were arrested by police, the 14-year-old juvenile and Natasha Reyes. Reyes had three knives in her possession. 

A search for the two suspects that fled produced negative results. 

The victim came to the scene of apprehension and identified the two as part of the group that robbed him.
