Worcester Man Arrested and Charged With Impersonating a Police Officer

Worcester resident Christopher Villa, 44, of 340 Main Street, Apt 965, in Worcester was arrested and charged with impersonating a police officer on January 7th, just after 10 p.m. 

The Incident 

On January 7, Worcester police received multiple calls reports a male possibly impersonating a police officer in the area behind Mezcal Restaurant on Major Taylor Blvd. 

Upon arrival, police officers spoke to witnesses who said that a male questioned them about the location of narcotics in the area while flashing a fake police badge. 

One witness told police that the man questioned him about drinking alcohol and then attempted to place him under arrest. 

The Arrest 

Police were told that the man was last seen getting into a taxi cab. Officers then located him behind City hall and identified him as Christopher Villa.
