Worcester Man Arrested for Breaking Into East Central Street Home

Josean Carrion, 39, was charged with breaking and entering in the night, possession of burglarious tools, trespass, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, and threatening to commit a crime.
The Incident
On July 17 at about 1 a.m., Worcester Police officer were dispatched to the area of 103 East Central St for a report of a house break in progress. Officers received a detailed description of the suspect, who was said to be wearing a New York Yankees backpack. As officers were checking the area, they noticed the man, later identified as Carrion, of 13 Wall St, sitting in front of 73 East Central St.
Carrion ran when he saw police, and officers checked the area for him. He was located hiding in the bushes in the back yard of a Ford St address, and refused officers’ commands to come out and show his hands. He pulled away from officers as they handcuffed him, and created a commotion in the neighborhood that disturbed multiple residents.
Carrion threatened police on scene, saying that he would shoot them in the head the next time he saw them on the street. He also said that he would continue breaking into houses. He was wearing gloves and was searched by police, who discovered a kit that included power drills, flathead screwdrivers, and pliers. He continued pulling away and flailing around while officers waited for the transport wagon.
Carrion was identified by witnesses as the person who broke into the residence on East Central St. He was placed under arrest.
