Worcester Man Arrested for Holding Victim at Gunpoint During Domestic Dispute

Following a struggle, as the victim attempted to escape she was able to take the gun away from the suspect.
Due to Massachusetts law that protects the names of people arrested and charged with domestic violence, the identity of this individual is being withheld.
The domestic dispute occured on N. Circuit Avenue. Upon arrival, the police located the suspect in the driveway and confiscated the gun used in the assault. Police found an additional gun in the suspect's car.
The 48-year-old male of Worcester was charged with Domestic Assault and Battery, Domestic Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon and Assault to Murder.
