Worcester Man Arrested in Connection With Fatal Shooting on Oread Street

Djarflo Irving, 37, is charged with manslaughter, carrying a gun without a license, and possession of ammunition without a license.
The investigation is still ongoing.
The Incident
On Tuesday, December 10, at approximately 1:20 a.m. Worcester police responded to 15 Oread St. for a report of a victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
The responding officers located a 21-year-old female victim, identified as Suheill Ortiz, inside the building.
The victim was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
