Worcester Man Dies Following Rollover Crash in Auburn

The man has been identified as Carlos Mendoza, 28.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
The Crash
Preliminary investigation by Trooper Timothy Rafferty shows that Mendoza of Worcester was traveling on the ramp structure from I-90 Eastbound to Route 290 Eastbound in a 2003 Nissan Pathfinder when, for reasons still under investigation, he lost control of the vehicle causing it to rollover and crash.
Mendoza was taken to UMass Memorial Hospital where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
The cause of this crash remains under investigation with assistance from the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and Crime Scene Services Section.
