Worcester Man Hit By Car on Chandler Street, Suffering From Head Trauma

According to the Worcester Police Department, just before 12 AM officers were called to the area of 165 Chandler Street for a single motor vehicle vs. pedestrian accident. When WPD arrived they located the man lying in the road. He was rushed to a local hospital and is currently in stable condition.
The operator of vehicle was identified as a 25-year-old female from Worcester driving a 2015 Honda Accord.
Preliminary investigation by the Worcester PD Accident Reconstruction Unit revealed that the man was not in a crosswalk when the accident occurred. One vehicle swerved to avoid hitting the man, but the second vehicle could not avoid him and struck him on the driver side.
The investigation is ongoing.
