Worcester Man Injured in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident

The suspect vehicle is believed to be either a green, older model Honda Accord or Toyota Celica and was last seen traveling on Jackson Street.
The Incident
On Saturday, June 4, at around 4:40 a.m. Worcester Police received a report of a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Main Street. When officers arrived they found a 25-year-old male of Worcester suffering from a leg injury. The victim is currently listed in stable condition.
The driver of the vehicle was not present at the scene when officers arrived.
A preliminary investigation reveals that the pedestrian was struck on the sidewalk while walking along the west side of Main Street. According to witnesses, the vehicle was traveling along the sidewalk before hitting the victim.
Based on the investigation, police believe that the suspect's vehicle is a green, older model Honda Accord or Toyota Celcia. The vehicle was last seen traveling on Jackson Street toward Southbridge Street.
The vehicle possible has damage to the front passenger side due to the crash.
