A Worcester man was killed in an accident that took play in the area of Shrewsbury Street in Worcester early Monday morning.

The Investigation is ongoing.

The Accident

On December 4 at about 6:40 a.m., Worcester Police were sent to the area of 495 Shrewsbury St. for a report of a car that struck a pedestrian.

Upon arrival, officers saw a 2017 Jeep Wrangler and its driver. They also saw a sixty-one-year-old Worcester man, on the ground. The victim suffered very serious injuries and was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

The preliminary investigation shows that the Jeep Wrangler was headed North on Shrewsbury Street.
