UPDATED: Connecticut Man Identified as Victim in Main Street Stabbing

Worcester Police investigators are continuing to work on getting developing suspect information. Detectives continue to process evidence and interview witnesses.
The Incident
Worcester police responded to the area of 766 Main Street, YMCA parking lot, for a report of a male unconscious and suffering from a stab wound. When the officers arrived, they saw Daniels suffering from a stab wound to the torso. He was treated at the scene by Worcester EMS and taken to a hospital.
Daniels arrived at the hospital and doctors declared him dead at approximately 7:38 p.m.
The Investigation
Detectives and members of the police crime scene unit arrived and took control of the investigation.
There is very little information pertaining to the suspect. The investigation indicates at this time that the victime was exiting his vehicle in the area of 702 Main Street when he had "words" with a male suspect. A fight took place following the exchange.
A witness said that the victim entered back into his vehicle and drove south on Main Street. The victim turned into the YMCA parking lot. He stopped his vehicle and slumped over. The vehicle was secured by a witness and then called for an ambulance.
