Worcester Police Investigating Sudden Death of 2-Year-Old Girl

When the officers arrived, they found a 2-year-old girl unresponsive. The girl was treated at the scene before being transported to a local hospital.
Shortly after arriving to the hospital, the girl was pronounced dead.
According to the mother of the girl, she found her daughter to be unresponsive just before she called the police. There was no signs of apparent trauma to the girl and the cause of death will be unknown until a post-mortem examination is completed.
Although the cause of death is unknown, investigators will be treating this incident as a sudden death investigation. This investigation remains active.
