Worcester Police Searching for 2 Suspects in Home Invasion Off Shrewsbury Street

The Worcester Police are searching for two suspects involved in a home invasion on Plum Street on Monday.

Around 2 PM, Worcester police officers were called to an apartment on Plum Street, which is off of Shrewsbury Street. According to the WPD, a 20-year-old male and 19-year-old female told police that they were victims of a home invasion that occurred two hours prior.

The two victims said they were sleeping when two males entered through the window armed with handguns. The male victim was pistol whipped by one suspect. During a struggle, a round was discharged outside of the bedroom. The suspects ransacked the apartment and stole multiple items before taking off down Shrewsbury Street.

The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’5” tall, thin build, possibly 18-22 years old, curly black hair in a ponytail, and wearing a white t-shirt, dark shorts and white Nike sneakers with gold stripes.

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 6’ tall, thin build, possibly 25-years-old and wearing a black running suit with white stripes.

The investigation is ongoing.
