Worcester Police to Promote 5 Officers to Sergeant on Tuesday
Monday, March 11, 2019
The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, March 12 at 4 p.m. at City Hall in the Levi Lincoln Chamber.
City Manager Edward M. Augustus Jr., Mayor Joseph M. Petty, Councilor Kate Toomey, Chair of Public Safety and Chief Steven M. Sargent will preside over the ceremony.
During the ceremony, the officers will take their oaths before family members and colleagues.
Officers being promoted to Sergeant are:
- Officer Michael Dowd
- Officer Thomas Dowd
- Officer Ryan Maher
- Officer William Pero
- Officer Lauren Voellings
