Worcester Preparing for Joaquin with Drawdown of Coes Pond and Indian Lake

On Friday, the City announced that DPW&P will be drawing down Indian Lake and Coes Pond to create additional stormwater storage to help mitigate flooding.
As of Friday afternoon, the National Weather Service anticipated rain all weekend long.
Hurricane Joaquin has been upgraded to a Category 4 Storm.
