Worcester Research Bureau to Hold Lecture on University Research

The Worcester Research Bureau has announced its fourth lecture in the Fairman Cowan Collegiate Lecture series. The lecture, titled Research That Our Impacts Our Community, will be held on April 22 at Clark University.

The lecture will focus on three key areas as Clark University faculty discuss how and where university research informs local understanding. Professor Thomas DelPrete will discuss education, Professor Laurie Ross ill discuss youth programs, and Professor John Rogan will present on the Asian Longhorned Beetle.

Seating is limited for the event. Participants are encouraged to RSVP to [email protected]. Following the lecture, a brief reception will take place. Parking is available at Clark in the Admission/Visitor lot on Maywood Street.

On Thursday, May 7, at Holy Cross, the fifth lecture in the Fairman Cowan Series will explore the role of technology in modern life.
