Worcester Rolls Out E-Citizen Crowdsourcing
Monday, July 20, 2015
"This website is intended to connect City Government with the residents of Worcester. On this site you will be able to participate in an online crowdsourcing collaborative with other concerned residents committed to problem solving and idea creation. These contributions bring important and innovative ideas to the attention of City Administration," City Manager Ed Augustus writes in introducing the myWorcester site.
The first and only issue so far raised by a citizen deals with the ordinance surrounding Worcester's food trucks and mobile food truck vendors.
The City is asking three questions regarding food trucks:
- Do you favor a program to locate food trucks in the City? Why or why not?
- Where within the City would this be most beneficial?
- What types of food would you like to see offered (breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc.)?
To reply to these questions and to other city-related issues as they come up, start an account here and following the directions provided.
