Worcester Woman Arrested After Stabbing Boyfriend During Fight

A Worcester woman was arrested after stabbing her boyfriend inside their home on McKinley Road. 

The woman, 32, was charged with one count of domestic assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon (edged instrument).

According to police, the identity of these individuals will be withheld due to the comprehensive domestic violence law that the Massachusetts state legislature passed. The law shields the names of people who are arrested and charged with domestic violence.

The Incident

On Monday, October 22, at approximately 7:15 a.m. Worcester police responded to McKinley Road for a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival officer located a 40-year old male victim suffering from a stab wound to his back.

The victim was rushed to a local hospital to be treated. His injuries are considered non-life threatening.

During the investigation, detectives learned that the stabbing occurred inside a residence on McKinley Road where the victim and his girlfriend were both present. Detectives connected the victim’s girlfriend, a 31-year-old female from Worcester with the stabbing.

She was arrested.
