Worcester Woman Arrested for Armed Robbery

Alicia Rojas, 30, of Worcester was arrested by Worcester Police and charged with armed robbery while masked for an incident that dates back to July 10 in which she robbed the Honey Farms located on Belmont Street. 

There are no additional details available at this time.

The Incident 

On July 10, 2016 at 2:00 AM, Worcester Police responded to the Honey Farms located at 304 Belmont Street for a report of an Armed Robbery. When Police arrived, they spoke to the clerk, who stated that a woman entered the store, stated that she had a firearm, and demanded cash from the drawer. The clerk complied and handed over an amount of cash to the suspect, who then left the store. The clerk told police that the woman was wearing a winter hat and large sunglasses in an attempt to disguise her appearance.

Worcester Police Detectives conducted an investigation, speaking with the victim and witnesses as well as collecting evidence. As a result of the investigation, police were able to identify Alicia Rojas, 30, of Worcester as the suspect.

On July 28, a warrant was issued for Rojas for the charge of Armed Robbery while Masked.

On Thursday, September 1, 2016, at 1:30 PM, Worcester Police located Rojas at 7 Neponset Street and placed her under arrest for the warrant.
