UPDATE: Worcester Woman Injured After Pickup Truck Takes off With Her Holding on

Worcester Police arrested Susan Dixon of Worcester after she drove off in a black Nissan Frontier while a woman was hanging onto the driver side window. 

She was charged with aggravated assault and battery, leaving the scene of personal injury, operating to endanger, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Dixon is 56 years old. 

The victim is currently in stable condition and is expected to survive.

She was treated at a local hospital for a broken ankle, collapsed lung, and minor brain bleeding. 

The Incident With Updated Information

On Saturday, September 17, 2016 at approximately 6:30 AM, Worcester Police responded to the area of 38 High Street for a report of a pedestrian accident. Upon arrival, officers located a Woman, 31, of Worcester laying in the middle of the street. 

Officers talked to witnesses and recovered video evidence that revealed that the woman was talking with the driver of a black Nissan Frontier, Susan Dixon, in the parking lot of the BP gas station on Chandler Street.

At some point, Dixon took off at a high rate of speed out of the parking lot with the woman holding onto the driver’s side window. Dixon continued at a high rate of speed up High Street, at which time the female fell off of the vehicle into the middle of the road.
