Worcester Woman Stabbed by Two Women on Jefferson Street

A Worcester woman was stabbed by two other women in front of a Jefferson Street apartment building in Worcester.

The victim is expected to survive and is in stable condition.

Police are in search of the two suspects.

The Incident

On Wednesday, March 29, at approximately 8:20 p.m., Worcester Police responded to a Jefferson Street address for a report of a stabbing. Upon the officers arrival they met with a 27-year-old woman. The woman was located inside the apartment building. She is a Worcester resident but does not reside at this address.

The woman was bleeding heavily but was conscious and alert. She said that she was outside the apartment building, standing in the driveway with her boyfriend, when she was approached by two women. One began to argue with the victim and then stabbed her several times in the upper body.

The suspect is known to the victim.

After the attack the two women left the scene on foot, they were last seen on Blanche Street towards Pattison Street and may have driven off in a light colored older model foreign made car.

The victim was treated at the scene and transported to a nearby medical facility via Worcester EMS. The Victim was immediately taken into the OR.

The victim will be interviewed at some time after she recovers from surgery.

Worcester Detectives responded to the scene along with members of the WPD Crime Scene Unit. Witnesses were interviewed while evidence was collected.
