WPD Arrest Man in Pajamas for Waving Replica Gun During Parking Dispute

Friday, February 13, 2015

On Thursday morning, Worcester Police arrested Roland Gagnon, 48-years-old of 10 Whitney Street, Worcester, for waving a replica gun during a dispute over a parking space at 141 Massasoit Road. Gagnon was described as "heavy set white male wearing pajama pants sitting in a grey Chevrolet Corsica."

WPD ordered Gagnon out of his vehicle. Upon searching the vehicle, a replica silver revolver in a holster was found in the center console. The weapon was a pellet gun.

Officers met with the victim and found that the victim parked in a spot that Gagnon had wanted and Gagnon began waving the fake revolver. The victim called the police due to the threat.

Gagnon was placed under arrest for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (replica firearm) and was transported to police headquarters for processing. Gagnon was arraigned Friday morning at Worcester County District Courthouse.
