The battle for the US Senate is too close to call, but the secret to predicting the fall outcome may be in the social media numbers. GoLocalWorcester takes a look at all the trends for Democratic challenger Elizabeth Warren and U.S. Senator Scott Brown's battle via YouTube, their Klout scores, Facebook, Twitter and Google searches.
In the second quarter this year Brown raised an impressive $5 million and was outraised by Warren who collected more than $8 million in campaign donations, but all the money may not mean as much as the velocity of messaging via Twitter and Facebook.
The 2nd most important election in the United States may come down to LIKES, tweets and video plays.
