Common Wealth: Who’s Hot and Who’s Not in Mass Politics?

HOT:
Scott Brown - He may have gotten beat pretty good by Elizabeth Warren, but he is still one popular guy. He could be the next Governor of Massachusetts or the next U.S. Senator of New Hampshire - go figure.
Gabriel Gomez - Each week he looks like the real pro and Markey looks a bit desperate and confused. It would be incomprehensible that the Democrats would ever allow Kerry's seat to slip away. That is crazy talk, the only thing more ridiculous would be allowing an upstart legislator to win Ted Kennedy's seat.
Canteen Truck - Kudos to the $250,000 state-of-the-art canteen truck donated to Box 4 Special Services. As the first canteen truck in the area, it will aid first responders in emergency situations across Worcester County. The truck will provide hot coffee, meals, water, a restroom, and warming and cooling equipment to service first responders during emergency situations. Local business man Rob Branca deserves the credit for making it all happen.
Members of the Worcester community - Thanks to the team that have established a fund to help the family of David Ndayishimye with expenses related to the cost of David's funeral. David Nadayishime drowned last Friday in Worcester's Bell Pond. He was only 10 years old.
All those interested in making a monetary contribution to this fund are asked to please make all checks payable to

Terrorist #1 - The past week was the week of the corpse. All the work that the tourism groups have done in the past decade was undone in one short week with one dead terrorist's body.
Peter Stefan - The Funeral Home Director was well intentioned. He believes everyone deserves dignity in death. The problem is taking on the task of preparing the body of a mass murderer without a game plan was not a great idea.
Chief Gemme - The police Chief spent the better part of the week complaining about the cost of the police details. Going forward for the next five years, every time he mismanages his budget he will blame it on the one week at the funeral home back in 2013. The cost of the details is simply not the biggest issue relating to the Boston Marathon Bombing.
