Everett Police Patrolman’s Association Endorse Diehl for U.S. Senate

Tuesday, August 28, 2018

Geoff Diehl

Republican candidate for U.S. Senate Geoff Diehl announced the endorsement of the Everett Police Patrolman’s Association on Monday.

“We take our endorsement process very seriously; after reviewing the candidates for U.S. Senate, there was only one choice to make – Geoff Diehl.  Today we are proud to put our full support behind his candidacy. Geoff doesn’t just talk about issues, he takes action. This spring he rode along with a police gang unit to see first-hand, the problems officers are confronting on a daily basis.  No one else bothered to take time from the campaign to actually learn. Senator Warren has never reached out. We know when Geoff is elected, we will have his ear and support on public safety issues,” said Det. Robert Hall, President of the Patrolman’s union.

The executive board and the membership of both Local 94, Everett Police Patrolmen’s and Local 95, Everett Police Superior Officers Association are unanimously supporting Diehl.

“I am honored to have the support of these dedicated police officers who put their lives on the line to keep us safe.  They humble me with their endorsement. This important endorsement emphasizes that I am the law and order candidate who will make public safety a priority.  I am committed to proudly supporting our law enforcement officials who bravely serve our community every day,” said Diehl.

Diehl won the Republican convention by 30 points.
