  • There is nothing that’s “free”. Not MBTA passes. Not college. Not health care. Someone else pays for all that “free” stuff. That someone else can be called a taxpayer. Or a milch cow. Pity the cow.
  • The college admission scandal is absolutely disgusting. However, at least two good things have arisen from its revelation. First, the word “moral” has re-surfaced in America’s discourse. That word was seemingly banished by crazed speech police who ceaselessly lecture all others on the imperative of being non-judgmental. Bear in mind that that speech police are the most judgmental and least tolerant people on the planet. We need more morality and more judgmentalism, not less. Second, I am resoundingly affirmed in my life-long criticism and condemnation of Hollywood, its elitism, its hypocrisy, and its never-ending phoniness. Never, never, never listen to any Hollywood figure opine on any subject. They are horribly immoral beings. And, self-evidently, their children are spoiled brats and morons. Repeat after me---the parents are immoral, their kids are dopes. ‘Nuff said.
  • And you thought that college was already too expensive! All those academic titles. All those fakers. Too few real professors and too few real courses. All those oppression studies in order to achieve intersectionality wokeness. Can you imagine if all those administrators were issued a shovel and told to dig a ditch? You know, an honest day’s work for an honest day’s pay? Perish the thought. That would be much too revolutionary for our campus revolutionaries. On top of all that seething bureaucracy comes the revelation of bigshots paying hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes in order to smuggle their dopey kids into the side door. This is parenting in the 21st century. God help us.
  • Presidential candidates who grovel over teenage misdeeds are not presidential material. Stop groveling. Stop abasing yourselves. You were a teenager. Therefore, you were a jerk. All of us were, including those social justice activists who demand apologies. Be presidential---tell the activists and Inquisition police to drop dead. Tell them that we don’t do re-education camps in America. If they want to embrace re-education camps they can go to their beloved Cuba or Red China.
  • The notion that fourteen and sixteen-year-olds should be voting is absurd. It is a patently political calculation, designed to offset the realities of life experience, budgets, judgement, and maturity. Any responsible parent who has raised teenagers knows the immaturity and lunacy of those years. Candidates should have to go out and earn the support of grouchy old people who have seen the world up close and who have good BS detectors. The brain pool of the electorate is already notably diminished. Let’s not dilute it further with the rampant foolishness of teenagers.
  • The Electoral College protects normal people in normal states from being governed by the states of California, Florida, and Texas. Neither the Northeast states nor the Mid-West states should relish such an outcome. All those smaller states have their own identities, their own cultures and demographics, and their own economies. California is a top-to-bottom mess of mis-government. Florida is a nursing home with humidity and hurricanes. And Texas is Texas. Need I say more? Pray tell me how the good people of Maine or any other sensible place would benefit from such untethered rule?
  • Go ahead, I’m listening…………………..
