Karyn Polito Raises $1 Million-Plus for Lt. Governor Campaign

Friday, August 29, 2014

Karyn Polito – a Republican candidate for Lt. Governor – has announced that her campaign has raised more than $1 million to date.

According to the Massachusetts Office of Campaign and Political Finance, this represents more funds raised that all of Polito’s opponents combined.

“I am grateful for and humbled by this overwhelming display of support for our campaign,” said Karyn Polito.  “As we travel across the Commonwealth, Charlie and I continue to hear from voters who have grown tired of the status quo under one-party rule, and are enthusiastically committing their support to our campaign to set a positive new direction for Massachusetts.”

Running as a team, Polito and gubernatorial candidate Charlie Baker coordinate their campaign activity and certain expenses. The two have maintained a significant cash-on-hand advantage over their opponents.

“Karyn’s fundraising and grassroots success is a clear indicator that she and Charlie have captured all the momentum in this race,” said Michael Vallarelli, Polito campaign Finance Director.  “Like their top-of-ticket counterparts, the lackluster fundraising of the Democrat candidates for Lt. Governor is further evidence of a message that fails to offer new positive ideas, and continues to underwhelm voters.”
