NEW: Councilor Lukes To Endorse Senator Brown

Monday, April 30, 2012

This afternoon Worcester City Councilor Konnie Lukes (D) will endorse Senator Scott Brown. Councilor Lukes told GoLocal this morning that she is throwing her support behind the Republican candidate, because he can get the job done and is willing to cross party lines to do so. Today Senator Scott Brown will also be formally endorsed by another former Democratic Mayor in the Bay State.  Brown will be joined by Ambassador Ray Flynn at Sullivan's at Castle Island. The former Boston Mayor, Flynn, will announce his endorsement at 1:30pm. Once Senator Brown picks up that endorsement, he will head to Worcester City Hall to meet with Councilor Lukes at 3:30pm. Be sure to stay with GoLocalWorcester and GoLocal TV  with more on this story this afternoon.
