News Analysis
Governor Charlie Baker
GOP front-runner Donald Trump swept five more states - all in the Northeast - and by huge margins. For Republican Governor Charlie Baker the Trump momentum towards locking up the Republican nomination is a growing concern.
Last December, “I think that’s ridiculous and I would never support a policy like that,’’ said Baker in an interview with reporters after a menorah lighting at the State House.
On March 2, Baker announced he would never support Trump's candidacy and will not vote for him in November. But, as the Republican establishment "anti-Trump" coalition that has tried to prop up Ted Cruz as an alternative collapses and more establishment Republicans are warming to the Trump candidacy out of self-preservation, will Baker change course?

Trump's Big Win in MA
Just a few months ago, in a far more crowded GOP primary, Trump swept to a victory in the Commonwealth's GOP primary. Trump won just under 50 percent of the vote -- SEE GRAPHIC -- against four other GOP hopefuls.
While Baker me object to a range of Trump's comments during the campaign, a range of Trump supporters will not forget a Baker "walk" on the GOP Presidential nominee in 2018. All Republican Governor's in Massachusetts are vulnerable.
