Two Northbridge Selectmen Endorse Marty Green for 9th Worcester Seat

“I have watched Marty grow from a young selectman who was not afraid to fight for the town and its residents, to the Director of the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce and on to owning his own business,” said Ampagoomian. “During the difficult economic times in the early 1990’s, Marty worked especially hard to be sure the residents of Northbridge maintained their essential services. All along the way, he has worked hard, built relationships, maintained the highest ethical standards and accomplished a lot at every stage. I can’t wait to see what he does for our district.”
“I was not born here in the valley but moved to Northbridge to raise my family as have many other voters,” said Marzec. “From day one, Marty has stood out to me as a leader in this community. Over many years, I have personally witnessed Marty, Maura and their kids Sadie and Jack work at church where they volunteer to deliver Christmas baskets, work with Young Neighbors in Action, serve breakfast to less fortunate and participate in other ministries. He helped found the Northbridge Education Foundation, the Blackstone Valley Education Foundation, and was Chairman of the Whitin Community Center along with being active with the Boy Scouts and Rotary Club. He has unmatched experience, endless energy, and great work ethic and will do a great job for the 9th District.”
District 9 serves the towns of Grafton, Northbridge, and Upton. Green, a Democrat, faces Republican David Muradian Jr. in the November 4th election.
