Worcester”s Harr Motor Group’s Coats for Kids program distributed more than 320 brand new winter coats to children and families in need on November 24. 

At their second annual “Distribution Event” at Friendly House, Harr Motor Group was able to help children stay warm with the help of Operation Warm - a Pennsylvania non-profit who provided the coats in exchange for donations.

On Wednesday afternoon, President Barack Obama presented the national Thanksgiving Turkey. In what has become known as 'The Pardoning of the Thanksgiving Turkey,' President Obama remarked that this would be "the most talked about executive-action this month." 

The turkeys that would be pardoned this year were named 'Mac' and 'Cheese.' "Today, I’m taking an action fully within my legal authority," Obama said, "the same kind of action taken by Democrats and Republican presidents before me -- to spare the lives of two turkeys, Mac and Cheese, from a terrible and delicious fate."

Nichols College Freezes Tuition Increase for 2016

Nichols College has announced a tuition freeze for the 2016-2017 academic year. This will be the College's second tuition freeze in three years. The school has also announced there will only be a 2.9% tuition increase for the 2015-2016 academic year. As a result, Nichols tuition will increase by an average of less than 1% annually over the four years spanning 2013 and 2017.

Craft Center’s Holiday Festival is a ‘Deep-Rooted’ Worcester Tradition
