Frank "Happy" Dobbs, who was the head coach for the Brown Men's Basketball Team in the 1990's, is the lead candidate to be Tim O'Shea's top assistant at Bryant University. Dobbs helped Brown to some of its best seasons and develop Brown stars including Eric Blackiston, Rick & Brian Lloyd and Steve Silas.

Dobb's son Frankie is the starting point guard and Bryant and one of the Bulldog's emerging stars.
