New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick continued to deny any involvement in the latest controversy involving the team's camera crew taping the Cincinnati Bengals sideline during last Sunday’s Bengals game against the Cleveland Browns.

“The football team, the football staff, and the coaching staff had nothing to do with what happened. Nothing. We have no involvement in it,” said Belichick during his press conference on Wednesday.

When asked about the scout in the Cleveland press box, Belichick said “He was doing his job, that’s what he was doing, his job. Like we all try to do.”

Belichick continued, “Mr. Kraft made a statement, the team made a statement, I don’t have anything to add.”

The Patriots take on the Bengals on Sunday, December 15 at 1 p.m. in Cincinnati.

NFL Investigation

As was reported earlier this week, the NFL is investigating the Patriots after the team’s video crew was seen taping in the press box during this past Sunday’s game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cleveland Browns in Cleveland.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the incident involved a Patriots advance scout who was being filmed while working for a team feature called “Do Your Job.”

A Bengals official saw a member of the video crew wearing a Patriots shirt and told the league, which then confiscated the video.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, "Do Your Job" focuses on members of the training staff, equipment and other behind the scenes personnel.
