Belichick and Brady

New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick addressed the media on Thursday morning, opening up with about a six minute statement on the recent deflated football scandal.

Belichick said repeatedly that he had no idea about the situation until he was told on Monday morning.

"I was completely and totally unaware of any of this. We're talking about these last couple of days until Monday morning" Belichick explained.

Bill Belichick then proceed to shift much of the focus of the scandal to quarterback Tom Brady.

"Tom's personal preference on his footballs are something he can talk about in much better detail," Belichick said of his quarterback.

Tom Brady will speak at 4 p.m. this afternoon.
