Bradley Jr.‘s 8th Inning Home Run Lifts Red Sox Over Tigers 5-3

The win improves the Red Sox to 33-27 on the season and snaps a two-game losing streak.
Red Sox Rally in 8th
Trailing 3-2 in the 8th, Xander Bogaerts hit a leadoff single and then was drove in by Mitch Moreland to tie the game at 3.
With the game tied, Bradley Jr. hit a high shot off of Detroit reliever Alex Wilson over Detroit’s bullpen and into the stands to give the Red Sox a 5-3 lead.
Their first lead of the game, after trailing 3-0 in the fourth inning.
Craig Kimbrel came on in the 9th and picked up his 18th save of the season.
Series Continues
The Red Sox and Tigers continue their series on Saturday night with first pitch set for 7:15 p.m.
The pitching matchup is a blockbuster, with Boston’s Chris Sale set to face Justin Verlander.
