Brown Beat by Columbia - Finish 7th in League

Columbia finishes its season with a 15-13 record, 6-8 in the Ivy League, while Brown ends with an 11-17 overall record, 4-10 in the Ivy.
Two Brown players did not dress due to illness -- senior Garrett Leffelman and sophomore Matt Sullivan and a third player - Tucker Halpern was limited by illness.
Brown was punished by the 32-point performance by Columbia’s Noruwa Agho. He scored 24 points in the first half on 10 of 11 shooting.
Bright Spots
Sophomore Andrew McCarthy scored a season high 21 points for Brown, and completed the double-double with 10 rebounds. He connected on 9 of 14 field goals and converted his first trey of the season.
Peter Sullivan finished his Brown career as one of the highest scoring players in Brown basketball history, scoring 21 points against the Lions, the 19th time he’s scored 20 or more points over four years. Sullivan is Brown’s fourth all-time leading scorer with 1,361 career points, passing Alai Nuualiitia, who scored 1,334 points for the Bears from 1999-2003.
Sullivan, who connected on 9 of 12 free throws tonight, has converted 393 career free throws, fourth in the Brown record book, while his 151 free throws this season rank seventh for a single season. He also connected on 142 career treys, which rank eighth in the Brown record book.
In addition, Bears’ freshman Sean McGonagill, who scored 39 points against the Lions in the first meeting, was held to 14 points, while handing out nine assists. Sean McGonagill wrapped up a phenomenal rookie campaign by handing out 147 assists, the third best seasonal performance in Brown basketball history.
Senior Adrian Williams scored just four points against the Lions, but completed his career as the Iron Man of Brown Basketball, playing in 115 career games for the Bears, more than any other Brown player.
