Burncoat’s O’Connor Named MA High School Hockey All-Star

Tuesday, March 10, 2015

Sheamus O'Connor, a member of the city-wide Worcester High School Hockey Team, and student at Burncoat High, has been selected to participate in the Massachusetts State Hockey Coaches Association High School All-Start Classic.

O'Connor is one of only 46 players in the state chosen to play in the All-Star game. O'Conner will be skating for the North All-Star team.

The game is presented by Shriners and is hosted by the Worcester Sharks. It will be played on March 21 at 4 PM at the DCU Center as part of a tripleheader that includes the Girls All-Star game (1:45 PM), and Sharks versus Lehigh Valley Phantoms (7 PM).

Fans are encouraged to vote via text for O'Connor to be in the starting line-up. Text the last name of the player (O’Connor) to be in the starting line to 74499* before March 17.

The Worcester Wildcats take on Nashoba tonight at 5:45 PM at the Wallace Center in Fitchburg.
