Holy Cross Basketball Asst. Coach Kennedy to be in Tonight’s “House Hunters” Episode

Wednesday, August 24, 2016

Joe Kennedy

Holy Cross assistant men's basketball coach Joe Kennedy will be featured in an episode of House Hunters on HGTV tonight at 10 p.m. The episode titled, "Newly Engaged Couple Disagree on First Home," will feature Kennedy and his now wife Karlee searching for a new home.

“It was a very exciting couple weeks to have our first home buying experience filmed. We don't plan on becoming reality stars, but we had a lot of fun with it. Looking back on the last year, it has been a whirlwind – a cross-country move, buying our home, an NCAA Tournament run and our wedding. We are thrilled we came to Holy Cross, which has played a key part in many of these experiences,” said Kennedy.

Joe Kennedy

Kennedy is beginning his 2nd season as an assistant coach for the Crusaders after helping the team to its first NCAA Tournament victory since 1953 in the 2015-16 season.

Prior to coming to Holy Cross, Kennedy spent time with the Sacramento Kings, Oregon State and Northwestern.

He is a 2007 graduate of Northwestern with a bachelor's degree in education and social policy, and was a four year letterman on the Wildcats' basketball team.
