Holy Cross Beats Navy 81-65 in 1st Round of Patriot League Tournament

Floyd’s points came on eight of nine shooting from the field. As a team, Holy Cross shot 67% from the field and 60% from three.
Holy Cross Dominates 2nd Half
The Crusaders held a 32-31 lead at the half before taking over in the second.
Over the first nine minutes of the second half, Holy Cross went on a 17-3 run to take a 49-34 lead.
Navy would get as close as seven points late in the half, but not any closer.
Holy Cross made 15 free throws in the final three minutes to seal the 16 point win.
Next Up
Holy Cross returns to action on Sunday, March 4 when they travel to Colgate for the semifinals.
Game time is set for 12 p.m. and can be seen on the CBS Sports Network.
