Holy Cross Escapes Albany With 55-49 Win

With the win, the Crusaders have now won three of their last four games and are 3-4 on the season, while Albany falls to 4-3 on the season.
Crusaders Storm Back
The Great Danes led 26-20 at the half and had a four-point lead, 40-36, with 7:23 left to play in the game. Then Holy Cross made their run.
The Crusaders scored eight straight points en route to a 15-2 run to take a 51-42 lead. During this stretch, Robert Champion scored 11 of the 15 points and a three by Malachi Alexander put the Crusaders in the lead for good.
Holy Cross would close out the game by hitting five of six free throws in the final minute.
The Leaders
Robert Champion led the Crusaders with 22 points on 8 of 16 shooting from the field, including 4 of 7 from three.
Malachi Alexander followed up with 17 points on 5 of 10 shooting from the field, while also grabbing seven rebounds.
Next up
The Crusaders return to action on Saturday, December 3 when they visit New Hampshire.
Tip -off is set for 7 p.m.
