The loss drops Holy Cross to 1-1 on the season, while Michigan improves to 2-0.
Holy Cross Falls to Michigan
The Wolverines held an early 9-5 lead with 14:41 left in the first half, when the Crusaders went on a 13-0 run to claim a nine-point advantage 18-9.
After Michigan scored the next seven points, Holy Cross closed out the half with a 6-2 run to claim a 24-18 lead heading into the break.
In the second half, Michigan knocked down their first seven shots to open the half on a 24-6 run.
From that point, Holy Cross would get no closer than ten points as the Wolverines would pull away and win by 19.
Holy Cross shot just 39% from the field and 29% from three in the game, while committing 16 turnovers.
The Crusaders were led by Connor Niego, who poured in a career-high 13 points.
Next Up
Holy Cross returns to action on Tuesday, Nov. 13, when it travels to Providence.
Game time is set for 7 p.m.
