Holy Cross Falls to #25 Albany 45-28

The Holy Cross Crusaders (1-2) fell 45-28 to #25 (3-0) Albany on Saturday night in New England. Holy Cross has now lost two straight games. 

The Game 

Holy Cross went up 7-0 on a touchdown by Jordan Montgomery from the hand of quarterback Peter Pujols. 

But in the second quarter the Great Danes scored 28 straight points to take a 28-7 lead into the locker room. 

Albany would go up 31-7after a field goal by Ethan Stark. 

The Crusaders would get to within ten, 31-21, after Pujols threw three touchdown passes in the third quarter. 

However, it was not enough as Albany would add two more scores in the fourth to seal the win. 

Next up 

The Crusaders return to action on Saturday, September 24 when they host Dartmouth. 

Kick off is set for 1 p.m.
