Holy Cross Falls to Bucknell 77-52

The Holy Cross Crusaders ( 9-14, 4-8 PL) fell 77-52 to the (13-10, 10-2 PL) Bucknell Bison on Saturday afternoon at the Hart Center. 

Holy Cross led 20-19 with 9:10 to go in the half before Bucknell took over. 

The bison went on a 9-0 run to go up 28-20 and would take a 39-28 lead into the locker room. 

Holy Cross got as close as nine points, 45-36, in the second half before Bucknell went on a 10-2 run to take a commanding 55-38 lead. 

The Crusaders would not get closer than 13 points the rest of the way.

The Leaders 

Karl Charles led the Crusaers with 13 points and 5 rebounds in the game. Charles' 13 points came on 4 of 11 shooting from the field. 

Anthony Thompson and Eric Green each added in 11 points of their own. 

Next up 

The Crusaders return to action on Wednesday when they host Lafayette at the Hart Center. Tip off is set for 7 p.m.
